Sony is beginning to feel the heat. They are now realise that if they do not lower the Playstation 2's price that Xbox may outsale Sony's consoles in May 2004. Sony's sales of Playstation 2 have dropped 30% in the past month while Microsoft has seen a double in their amount of sales. It is estimated that Xbox sold 275,000 consoles last month and PS2 only sold 200,000, which was a suprise even to Sony. My guess would be that Sony is going to drop their console price in the upcoming weeks. The reason I think this is because it is very obvious that Sony is maintaining a strong foothold in the console industry and even though it may hurt their income, I doubt that they will be willing to let their foot slip out of the door. This is only my opinion of course, but I would be really suprised if we didn't hear anything from Sony in the next couple of weeks. (Random News)
Hurray to 10,000 unique vistors on my page. Took forever, but hey, if I were to think that I would have come anywhere near this many 3 months ago I would have been really excited, so this is a cool thing. (Announcements)
Well, right now I guess it's only speculation, but I'm pretty sure it will end up happening. Wall Street is saying that they think Microsoft is prepared to drop the price of it's Xbox console to $30 less then it's current price. This will make the price tag change from $179 to $149. Microsoft has yet to comment on the report, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see... (Xbox Announcements)
There is a new map on Xbox Live available for Rainbow Six 3. The map is a multiplayer "Meat Packing Plant" map that comes with the PC Raven Shield version of the game. This is however an updated version of the level which is better then it’s PC counterpart. So those of you with this game and Xbox Live, go get this one while it's hot. (Xbox Live)
Ah, it feels good to be back blogging again. Well, I'm not sure the legal issues surrounding this (maybe you people can fill me in on them), but I'm going to show you a page that I scanned from Xbox Nation's magazine. I blurred out all of the text to avoid any problems and whatnot, not sure if that's necessary or not, but just being safe. Anyways, this is what the readers of XBN are waiting for: I agree with this list, but something is not right... the order. Now, let me just say this before screwing up the order of this list, I am planning on buying each and everyone of these games, so all of these are VERY anticipated games, so don't think it's because I don't like the games that I am changing the order, I like them all. My list: 1. Half Life 2 - This paved the way for any FPS's that came after it. This showed that an FPS could have more then your average 'shoot to kill' scenario. It added depth and character to the person behind the gun. The story was enough to want me to finish it, and the gameplay was enough to keep me coming back and back again. Not to mention that the mods for this game are some of the best mods for any game ever. 2. Halo 2 - Haha, the first game basically made the Xbox what it is today! How could I not be looking forward to this? Of course, the first was lacking in some areas (level design, story, character) but what it was lacking in, it made up for in multiplayer and co-op. All of I have to say about Halo 2 and my hyping it up is summed up in 2 glorious words. Xbox Live. I am ready to take this game on a test with Xbox Live! I can not wait! 3. Doom 3 - Oh man, I've been waiting for this one forever! Ever since I saw that first screen shot I began to cry. Why was I crying? No, not because the graphics were amazing, even though they were, but because I knew that my poor computer would never have a chance at running the game. So when I found out that it would be coming to the Xbox, I once again jumped for joy. To make it even better they have decided to add an extra feature to the Xbox version... a co-op mode! I love co-op modes, so this will make the game really fun. But I'm definitely going to be prepared to get my pants scared off for this game. 4. Fable - I'm still having my doubts about this one. The fact that it was an RPG increased my interest in this game right from the beginning, but it seems that Xbox may never have the true type of RPG I enjoy. It seems that the types of RPG that people are enjoying lately are action RPGs, which I don't even find much like RPGs at all. They seem just like action games that focus on the story a little bit more then average action games. Where are the true RPG battle system type games (Final Fantasy!)? Anyways, this game still keeps my interest peaked with its story, beautiful graphics, and curious gameplay. 5. True Fantasy Online - Honestly, I don't have that much to say about this game. I really didn't become all that interested in this game until about a month ago. One reason is the fact that no monthly price has been announced yet, so I'm kind of hoping that there won't be one (fat chance, right?). Anyways, I've just been really interested in this genre lately, so we'll see... (Upcoming Games)

Recently I've kind of been looking at my site and silently groaning at myself. To me something seems to be missing. It seems to lack interest. Maybe it's just me, but do any of you guys agree with me? Do you have any ideas of how to make it more exciting? (Announcements)
Yeah, so... this page is looking awfully lonely. Just here to tell you that I am not dying. I would at least give you fair warning if I was dying. But there are however times in which breaks are necessary, and I have definitely been taking my fair share of breaks. I do have Spring Break next week though, so I am sure that I will find plenty of time to sit down and blog, so for those of you who have stuck with me even with my long periods of down time, you will in fact be getting more updates. I cannot guarantee that those updates will come this week, but I will try my best and will start to update on a more frequent basis. Thanks for your patience! (Announcements)
Yeah... it's the same picture... But like 3 times bigger! (Screenshots)
Oh yes, yet another batch of screenshots. You may notice something new about these screens though... (Screenshots)
Oh yes. This is beautiful. (Upcoming Games)
Ok, yeah, so maybe that is a cliché title that will most likely be used over and over for this announcement on other gaming site, but hey, it works. Also I couldn't think of a better title, but that's off the record. Anyways, EA has just recently announced at D.I.C.E. that it will in fact be making a The Godfather franchise. It is also being said that, surprise surprise, the game will most likely receive a mature rating. This means that perhaps EA will begin to slip away from some of the more "child-friendly" games, but not necessarily. Seeing as EA dominates the sports aspect of consoles (and computers), I think it is safe to say that EA will stay "child-friendly" for the most part. I can say that I am excited for this game. Not only are the movies amazing (which I have the strangest sudden urge to watch over again right now), but I am madly in love with any Mafia-style game/story/movie. I'm thinking if anyone can pull it off, it will be EA. Until I find out more, this is what you get, so stay tuned... (Upcoming Games)
Rumor has it that Robbie Bach will be attending the Game Developer’s Conference on March 24th. This might mean that Xbox Next information could be released in the upcoming weeks. Microsoft Japan's Asako Miyata said that Bach would be attending the GDC and that Miyata would be "discussing games that will run on the console and revealing some technical aspects about the console's format". I don't know about you, but I think that this will be something to set your calendars for. Even if he doesn't do exactly that, he still will probably have some interesting things to say about Microsoft and their Xbox plans. (Xbox Next)
